Dr. Iqbal is practically an Arizona native having lived here since he was 5 years old. After growing up in the east valley, Dr. Iqbal decided to move to Tucson to pursue his passion for medicine. Loving the University of Arizona, he would stay there to complete his undergraduate, medical school, residency, and fellowship training. Having spent more than a decade in Tucson completing his studies, Dr. Iqbal decided it was time to move back to the valley and provide quality medical care in his hometown. He has been practicing in the East Valley for over 3 years now and plans to stay for many years to come. Dr. Iqbal was trained by top experts and researchers in the field of pain medicine and is well versed in all aspects of pain management care. He offers advanced treatment modalities such as spinal cord/DRG stimulation, kyphoplasty for compression fractures, and regenerative treatments as well as traditional and alternative pain management treatment modalities. Dr. Iqbal strives to evaluate and treat every patient on an individual basis to provide the best multimodal approach to address his/her chronic pain symptoms.

By doing so, he aims to not only reduce discomfort in his patient’s lives but allow them to enjoy the little things in life that have become so elusive due to chronic pain. In the current fast-paced world of medicine, Dr. Iqbal makes a great effort to give his patients time, empathy, and the best possible experience while dealing with and addressing their chronic pain needs.

In his spare time, Dr. Iqbal loves spending time with his beautiful wife and children. He enjoys playing and watching sports like basketball, football, and tennis and is a firm believer that physical activity plays a big role in reducing chronic pain. He also loves working on cars and doing DIY projects around the house.
